Wireless Network

“UCD Wireless” is the open access wireless network available in all UCD buildings including Geary. This is the network you should use on arriving in Geary.

There is also an Eduroam network which requires you to login with your UCD login. Eduroam is more secure and can also be used by visiting academics from institutions that use eduroam i.e. most European universities. Further details here

Wired Network

You should register your computer/laptop for the wired network asap (once you have a UCD connect login) as this network is faster and more reliable than the wireless network. To register go to http://netreg.ucd.ie and follow the instructions.

There should be a network cable at your desk to connect to your device. If there is not, please create a support ticket. Further details here
