Printing in Geary
All printing in Geary is charged to individuals or projects.
Installing Printers 267 and 268 (Top floor and Middle floor)
Windows Users
Staff/researchers: download the installer from this Link

Apple Users
Students/Staff/Researchers: download the installer from this Link
Once you have downloaded the appropriate installer, run the package (there may be a warning select “run anyway”). On the pop up click install and wait for it to finish. Once it is finished click finished.
Installing Printers (Ground Floor)
For Windows users, download and run the installer package from this link:
The installer package will put four printer queues on your computer:
- Printer_723_A4_BW (A4 size printing in Black & White)
- Printer_723_A4_Col (A4 size printing in Colour)
- Printer_723_A3_BW (A3 size printing in Black & White)
- Printer_723_A3_Col (A3 size printing in Colour)
Phd Students
Once installed you will need:
- A ucard (see ucd.ie website on how to get a ucard)
- Credit on this ucard (you can put credit on your ucard from kiosks on campus or from any copi-print desk; The closest desk to Geary is in the Newman building, near the tunnel to the library).

Researchers
Please create a support ticket providing your personnel number and project code or cost centre and set up on the relevant printer will be arranged. You will then receive confirmation of set up. Once this is done you will be able to print from your school or project account.
